Ozberry Looking For Further

May 19, 2012

On Saturday 19th May Ozberry Miss made the step up from the Country circuit of Goulburn to the provincial track at Kembla Grange. After having her first three starts at Goulburn resulting in a third and fourth, Ozberry Miss was able to storm home from well back on what seemed to be a leader bias track to finish third beaten a head.

Ozberry Miss settled a bit worse than midfield some six lengths from the lead, from the 600m she had very little luck in the run with no room and she had to change course 100m from the winning post into a gap and she attacked the line very strong to go down by a very short margin.

Gentle said "She was very unlucky and should have won the race, she was half a length in front a few strides past the post which tells you how quick she hit the line, she will now step up to a 1800m race in about three weeks which seems to be the distance she is looking for".
