Feb 10, 2012

On Thursday 9th February we saw Chevalion take a step up in grade from running 2nd in a Nowra maiden at his first start to taking on a better grade maiden at Gosford. After being a little slow to begin he worked through to trail the leader in third and fourth place on the fence. After the leader was able to have some easy sectionals and kick away Chevalion chased hard to the line to run 3rd beaten 1 3/4 lengths. It was a great day out for owners Paul Knight who made the trip from Mudgee with his father for the races and Daniel Carr who is in the Knights Racing Syndicate made the trip down from Newcastle with his wife and father-in-law for the day out. It was a great day had by all even though Chevalion only ran 3rd.
